My parents had one of these before my brother and I (twins) were born! Never got to drive in it as, instead of selling it, dad (for whatever reason...) parked it on our property and let it rot until well after I was born. Poor thing was more rust than steel when they finally had it hauled off, but it was one of the first cars to get me INTO cars...sitting there as a young kid, looking at it and thinking what it would’ve been like in good shape.

I found a key for it years later and still carry it on my keychain for good luck and as a momento. :) Theirs was burgundy with a bright red cloth interior and a white landau (mostly moss by the time I knew it) roof.

My family had one when I was growing up. It was the “good” car.
